Linstone Housing Landscape Maintenance Contract 2026-2029

Overview

The Contract will principally comprise litter picking, grass cutting, shrub bed & hedging, ad-hoc moss clearance of hard standing areas maintenance and leaf collection landscape maintenance services to existing properties and common landscaped areas throughout Renfrewshire to the areas detailed within the Landscape Architects MAP’s. The Contract may also include tree maintenance services, tree and stump removal works, and repairs to existing damaged grass areas. The Contract, as tendered, only includes properties and landscaped areas throughout Linwood, Johnstone and Paisley. However, Linstone Housing also provide services to their customers in Bridge of Weir, Renfrew, Elderslie and Kilbarchan, and additional properties or landscaped areas throughout Renfrewshire may be introduced by Linstone Housing during the Contract. Shrubs bed maintenance will mainly be undertaken by the Estates Management Team of Linstone Housing rather than the Contractor. However, the Contractor will be required to undertake shrub bed maintenance to the following estates/MAP’s, the areas of which have been incorporated within the tender pricing document; 1. M02 Rev B Dykebar – areas S11 and S12 to be maintained by the Contractor. Bidders are advised that areas S11 and S12 are actually hedging and have been incorrectly recorded as shrub bed areas on MAP M02 2. M10 Rev B Sandyflats – areas S1 and S2 to be maintained by the Contractor; 3. M19 Rev B Town Centre – all shrub beds to be maintained by the Contractor; and 4. M20 Rev B Abernethy Drive – all shrub beds to be maintained by the Contractor. Bidders are also advised that Linstone Housing do not anticipate the Contractor having to undertake any works during the contract at the following estates/MAPS’s; a. M01 Bridge of Weir; b. M04 Glen Street Paisley; c. M06 Johnstone Castle; d. M07 Rev A Kilbarchan; e. M08 Renfrew Rd or Kirklandneuk; f. M09 Corseford; g. M21 Brown Street; and h. M22 Ellerslie Street. Bidders are further advised that the grass area G1 detailed on MAP M10 Rev B Sandyflats is rough grass and will receive only one rough grass cut per annum. The Estates Management Team of Linstone Housing will also generally undertake moss clearance of hard standing areas with the exception of the hard standing areas detailed on M02 Rev B Dykebar. The Contractor will be required to undertake moss clearance three times annually (April, June and October) to the hard standing areas detailed on M02 Rev B Dykebar.
