***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the GCA RM3764.3 - Cyber Security Services 3 DPS, DPS FILTER CATEGORY: NCSC Assured Services Brief overview of the requirements being awarded The Department of Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ) is responsible for ensuring that the UK has a resilient energy sector. With the increasing use of cyber as an offensive attack methodology, and an increasing pool of adversaries prepared to employ it, action is required to support the energy sector and protect critical infrastructure. DESNZ, in consultation with experts at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), NESO and industry have identified an opportunity to strengthen threat analysis and sharing capabilities and collaboration with support from government in the GB energy sector. DESNZ's engagement with the GB energy sector has revealed that many organisations face significant challenges in understanding cyber threat and barriers to sharing information.
