NNR Review workshops

Overview

Background: Our ambition is that NE managed NNRs demonstrate and deliver the NE Strategy and the NNR Strategy and standards. We want to maximise the strength of each site, our collective skills and our resources; be clear on Natural England's role, and place greater emphasis on collaborative partnerships. We want an estate that is legally and contractually compliant, is safe and welcoming to our annual visitors aregistered volunteers and is also affordable and deliverable. This project will consider where Natural England will invest, including Grant in Aid, income and other sources of funding and where we might change our role. On-going estate management, including improvements and efficiencies, will be delivered whilst the review takes place. Provide a brief description of the service, e.g. estimated timescales and location. Include an overview of the information suppliers would need to decide whether they would be interested in an opportunity. Contract requirements: Workshops: There will be 12 workshops taking place across England to engage with staff working on NNRs in order to identify opportunities for change. These will be around 5 hours each, taking place in local offices or NNR sites. A facilitator is required to design and deliver these, maximising the collaboration and input to the session by attendees. Timing: These will be taking place between late October and early December 2026
