Overview
The enabling works package will comprise a series of advance works required to prepare Cumberland Sports Village for the main redevelopment programme to ensure that the site is fully prepared for the mobilisation of the principal contractor in January 2027 Key deliverables in the enabling works: • Site security and hoarding/permanent fencing. • Construction compound and laydown area. • Asbestos removal. • Utility diversions/disconnections. • Removal of leased equipment where necessary. • Safe removal of 20no. pitch side posts, 2no. turnstiles,7 x pitch lighting columns and associated infrastructure. • Removal of all pitch side seating/dugouts.
