JAGGAER UK is where a lot of public sector tendering now happens, particularly in higher education, and suppliers generally meet it because a buyer has asked them to register before submitting a bid.
What JAGGAER is
JAGGAER is a commercial procurement software company. Buyers licence its platform and use it to advertise opportunities to registered suppliers, issue tender documents, run clarification questions and collect submissions.
It is the same family of technology that was previously sold under the BravoSolution name, following JAGGAER acquiring BravoSolution in 2017. That is why some buyer guidance still refers to the older brand.
Which organisations use it
Universities and other higher education bodies are frequent users, along with councils, health organisations and a range of other public and private buyers.
Each buyer runs its own tendering area, so an account with one organisation does not carry across to another. Registering through the link in the buyer's notice avoids ending up on the wrong instance.
How suppliers usually get started
Register with your legal company name, company registration number and VAT number where you have them, then set the categories and alert preferences that match the work you would genuinely bid for.
Express interest in the opportunity, download the documents and read the instructions and the evaluation criteria first. The criteria tell you what earns marks, and writing before you have read them is the most expensive habit in bidding.
Submit with time in hand. Electronic deadlines close on their own, and uploads take longer than people plan for.
Where these notices also turn up
The advertisement usually sits on a national service rather than on the platform alone. Higher-value procurements appear on Find a Tender, and lower-value English and UK-wide requirements commonly appear on Contracts Finder, with the notice naming the platform for submission.
